Every situation or moment that we experience as difficult in our lives has something to teach us about ourselves. Why?
Because if we had nothing to learn from that situation or moment, we wouldn’t experience it as difficult. If we had nothing to learn, that situation or moment would be understandable, and therefore we could easily accept it as it is, without reacting emotionally.
Your emotions are the sign that there is something you aren’t understanding about yourself, others or the world.
Feeling bad is an indicator that you are not acting according to the laws of Life, but reacting to your fears, beliefs, ideas … that is, to your mental, emotional and behavioural patterns that form your personality.
And what options do you have when your emotions arise and you feel bad?
You can continue reacting to these patterns, justify feeling bad and not let that situation touch you, influence you and teach you. If you choose this option, you will continue to be a victim, a slave to what happens in the external world: viruses, economic crises, your government, what your neighbour does, etc.
You can also deal with the emotional stress with strategies such as singing, dancing, meditating, performing rituals, praying, or using humour. You will soon notice that you will feel better, but only temporarily. Because you haven’t dealt with those patterns that run your life.
Or you can honestly acknowledge that you feel bad. And start bringing those patterns from the subconscious into your field of consciousness and actively working with them. And why is this your best option? Because it’s the only one that will free you from those patterns and from feeling bad. Because the more you understand your own suffering, the more you can understand the suffering of others. And because the more you change yourself, the more you can change the world we live in.
You can choose to learn and grow from experiencing difficult moments.
You can choose how to respond to the situation, instead of being a victim or simply cope with it.

About me…
It was 2008. I was 30. And a trip to Bolivia turned my life upside down. I got sick with typhus. And everything that I thought was safe and solid in my life disappeared.
I realized that what I thought was true, it wasn’t. And I began to question: what is the Truth? What is real? Where does the security lie in Life? How can I free myself from my own suffering?
Once recovered I left my job and I started a six years trip around the world in search of those answers. But it wasn’t until 2013 that someone gave me the key to find them. And I began a journey into myself. I stepped into a process through which you make conscious changes, and these changes lead you to achieve inner peace.
After working a few years as a therapist, now I guide others on how to step into that process themselves and live their lives consciously and meaningfully.

That’s to have freed yourself from those patterns or expressions of your Ego. That’s to be absolutely free and only you can take away that freedom from yourself. Nobody else.
